Lights, Camera, Action 16th Meeting of the Term!

There were Lights,
one or two Cameras,  and loads of Action!!!!

The Meetup Theme was "Lights, Camera, Action". That is the cue for any multi-million dollar Media Team filming a set. On the morning of 9th March 2013, the Toastmasters Club of Taylor's University chose to put on a show, of their own.

Anticipation builds.

It started of with current Club President Zahir Ahmad addressing the audience while posing introductory questions for the audience to share with the room. Everybody was asked a generic question, Introduce themselves and what is their favorite TV-Drama or Movie. After mostly unique answers from everyone, HIMYM came out top choice!

Audience getting in the thick of things!

Wanted. Late Comer. Again...

"How I Met your mother, For me too."

Following that, the Toastmaster of the Morning/ TOM, Shaun Liew took charge of the meeting. Before introducing the role-players and passing the session to the Table Topics Master, he acknowledged and paid respect to the origins of the Toastmaster program.

Table Topics with a Twist

With the Table Topic Contest out for the way, practice would come later. Zahir Ahmad as Table Topic Master conducted things a little different. It goes like.

Volunteer. Present that short slideshow.
