It's time to put your Toastmastery skills to the test as TWO of our club level contests - Humorous Speech & Evaluation Contest awaits!!!Tips for Humourous Speech:
1. Have a memorable speech title.
2. Have an interesting opening.
3. The body of speech can have 3 related stories.
4. Have an impactful ending, preferably with a message.
Tips for Evaluation Contest:
1. Be encouraging, note down strengths of TEST SPEAKER.
2. Highlight ways the test speaker can improve further.
3. Comment on both msg & msg being delivered by TS.
4. Use the 3rd person approach (interaction with audience).
All members can choose to partake either ONE or BOTH contests. Interested members can also take up LEADERSHIP ROLES such as timer/ballot counter, organizing chair and etc in order for the contests to run smoothly. Please check your email as the role player list will be sent by the President, Zahir.
Slots are running out fast! So I strongly urge all members to participate in order to upgrade yourself into a higher level. You will be surprised on how much you have reaped in Toastmasters.
