Taylor's University Toastmasters Club: TUTMC 2nd Meeting Of The Term.

The theme of the day was 'Back To School'. Some of us dressed up in our old white uniforms with the name tags still intact. There were guests coming from Stamford College, TTDI, Faith and Speecom. It was absolutely nice of them to visit us as the clubs are quite distant from each other.

The word of the day was 'Exhilirate'.

"Were you a heartbreaker or were you heartbroken?" was just one of the many interesting topics during our Table Topics Session today. The winner was, Priscilla from Faith TMC, who went about on cartoons and how it helps us communicate more effectively with our friends. These are some photos of our Table Topics session. :D

Moving on to our Prepared Speeches session, our very own Treasurer, Felicia Regina Tjhang completed her icebreaker speech today, with title 'Lessons in Life'. Both Dylan and Royce completed their 2nd speech in their CC manual with the titles '5 Facts Of Dancing' and 'Solutions' respectively. Last but not least, Azwan completed his 3rd speech in the CC manual with the intriguing title of 'Devil's Advocate', giving us an insight of religion. (How indirect of you, Azwan.) *lightning strikes *devil's laugh MUAHAHAHHAHAHAH okay.

Next up, it was the evaluations section! General evaluator of the day Priscilla from Faith TMC said, ''Everything was so fun, until I had to take over. Now I am sad." That really cracked us up, didn't it? AAAAANYWAY, after a lengthy evaluations section, prizes were awarded to Royce for delivering the best speech of the day, Priscilla from Faith TMC, the winner of the best table topics of the day who went about on cartoons and how it helps us communicate more effectively with our friends AND Ron from Speecom for giving the best evaluation of the day!
