Learning beyond books

Recently, on November 7th 2010, there was an article that was written by Dr Theva Nithy in which he mentions that students should really focus on bringing up and improving their skills whether it be on communication, decision making, language skills, and be able to take risk in the things that they do (i.e. academic, business). Dr Theva Nithy also mentions that these skills should not be taught solely based on books rather learning based on experience. Major areas of highlights of the article are;

Ability to communicate

Inclusive and collaborative decisions

The need to be heard

Take Calculated Risk

Technology & Language
